Chris Guay is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in operations, management, and development within the senior living industry. His extensive career spans from hands-on community leadership to senior executive roles at some of the industry’s largest organizations, including Emeritus Senior Living and Brookdale Senior Living, where he served from 1998 to 2016.

Before founding Vitality Living in 2016, Chris served as the Northeast Division President at Brookdale Senior Living, overseeing 275 communities across 18 states, serving more than 21,000 seniors and their families daily. Under his leadership, Vitality Living has grown from a startup with no revenue into one of the industry’s top 100 senior living companies. Today, the organization operates 33 communities across 11 Southeastern states, supporting over 3,200 residents and more than 2,000 team members.

As an Owner/Operator Chris has a deep commitment to delivering exceptional care and service, Chris focuses on creating value for residents, families, associates, and stakeholders. He is passionate about cultivating talent and fostering engaged, skilled teams to drive organizational excellence.

Chris’s dedication to senior living is rooted in personal inspiration from his family. Growing up with grandparents who embraced life to the fullest—from learning to ski in their 50s to adventuring in dune buggies in their 70s—he developed a profound belief that age should never limit one’s ability to experience life. This philosophy drives his mission at Vitality Living: to create vibrant communities where older adults can continue to live with purpose, energy, and joy.
