Mr. Wiebe is a Senior Vice President in asset management with current responsibility for over 4,900 seniors housing units totaling $2.09 billion in gross property value. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing assets to achieve the overall goals for the client, working closely with operators and property managers. Mr. Wiebe joined AEW in 2006 from his position as an assistant controller for a New England property developer, GFI Properties/CRE Management, where he was responsible for payroll, cash management, loan draws, project budgeting, and performance reporting. Prior to that, Mr. Wiebe obtained his CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) designations working for Ernst & Young on control audits within the financial services industry. Mr. Wiebe is a graduate of University of Massachusetts-Amherst (B.A.) and Babson University (M.B.A.).
